How Solar Energy Works in Our Lives
You might have
already seen or own a solar powered calculator
or a solar powered wristwatch. These are just
a few examples of how solar energy works in
simple everyday units. Just a little (or a
lot of) sunlight is needed to make solar powered
items work. It is sometimes amazing how sunlight
can be transformed into electricity. It is
truly amazing how solar energy works.
There are other items that require no batteries
and use only solar cells besides wristwatches

very hard to understand.
The silicon-based semiconductor is designed
to maximize the absorption of light. As light
is being absorbed, electrons move at a particular
direction. The movements cause currents and
